Definitely, this is one of the most romantic songs ever. Written by Gino Paoli in 1969, it remained among the most listened to and the most ballad by couples in love. 🙂 But if I’m not mistaken, the author reported that the song was written for a street woman he had met and with whom he had fallen madly in love. 🙂 Sometimes the love that gives birth to beautiful songs is the less conventional one. 🙂
